What Is Youth Day?
Youth Day kicks off the four-day event of the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress (RECongress). This day provides a space for young people to encounter and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ in His church. Through inspirational
The event is for young people who are in high school (grades 9-12). All the workshops and experiences offered on this day are prepared for young people who are in high school.
workshops, music, prayer opportunities and the liturgy, young people can experience God and feel connected to the larger church. Here, they can feel Jesus calling them to be part of something bigger - the universal church!

Are There Other Events And Opportunities While At RECongress?
Yes! In addition to our Keynote and Workshops, Youth Day participants will have the opportunity to enjoy Sacred Space, Youth Ministry Exhibits, Music/Praise and Worship, an Opening and Closing Session, and Liturgy.
Adult Day Participants will have access to an Opening Ceremony, daily Liturgies, Prayer Services, Sacred Space, Sacrament of Reconciliation, access to the Exhibit Hall, Entertainment, Multicultural Exhibits, a Film Showcase, and an opportunity to encounter friends - new and old - from across the nation and around the world.

Where Does RECongress Take Place?
RECongress takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.
Parking is available in the surrounding parking lots, inclusive of the lot at the convention center, hotels, and Disneyland Toy Story parking. Parking typically ranges from $20-$40 per car, but is subject to change without notice.
The Anaheim Convention Center is a cashless facility, however food trucks and the collection during Mass will accept cash.

When Does Registration Open?
RECongress registration will open late fall/early winter of 2024.
Special discount pricing is available until January 16, 2025.

Who can attend Youth Day?
Youth Day is open to all high-school aged young people and their adult chaperones. Young people in middle school, or young adults in college should NOT register for Youth Day.
All Youth Day participants must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. Youth attending as part of a group will need 1 adult chaperone per 10 young people, with the first group of 10 requiring 2 chaperones. Young people attending as an individual must be accompanied by an adult chaperone or parent.
All youth and chaperones must be registered for the event.

What Information Do I Need To Register Young People For Youth Day?
When registering, you do NOT need the names of youth participants attending the event. Adult Participants and Adult Chaperones First and Last Names ARE required.
When registration opens, we recommend registering online to secure your spots. Mail in registrations are also accepted and will be available once registration opens. Depending on when you register, your badges will be mailed or available for pick up at the will call area in the Anaheim Convention Center.

Who Can Attend The Adult Days?
We encourage participation from all adults 18-years of age and older, who are interested in growing in their faith. We welcome single and married adults, religious, clergy, consecrated women and men, teachers, catechists, heads of ministry, and the lay faithful - all are welcome, regardless of their vocation.

Can Children Attend RECongress?
Children attending RECongress must be registered and accompanied by a parent at all times. Event content is focused on an adult audience and may not be suitable for children.
While in a workshop, if your child become restless or needs extra attention, we kindly ask that you step to the back of the room or step out momentarily to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

How Can I Register?
Registration can be completed by mail or online. There is a preference for online registration as it provides a more seamless experience.

You may pay online with a debit or credit card with the Visa,
MasterCard, American Express or Discover logo.Registering by Mail:
If registering by mail, use the form found on the back page of the Registration Guidebook.
If you would like a Registration Guidebook mailed to you, please email your full name and mailing address to the RECongress email at [email protected]The last day to register by mail is January 30, 2025.
Registering On-Site:
There is no onsite registration for Youth Day.
Adult Days ONSITE Registration will be available:
- Thursday, February 20 | 4:00pm - 8:00pm
- Friday, February 21 | 7:00am - 4:30pm
- Saturday, February 22 | 7:30am - 3:00pm
- Sunday, February 23 | 8:00am - 11:00am

What Is The Cost To Register For RECongress?
Youth Day is $45 per participant.
Those registering before January 16th can take advantage of our special discounted pricing of $40 for Youth Day and $80 for the Adult Days.
Adult Days are $90 per participant.
For this rate, you will get access to all that our event has to offer - the keynote address, exhibit hall, workshops, liturgies, Sacred Space, and so much more!

Is There A Day Pass For The Adult Days?
No. By registering for the Adult Days, you will receive access to all 3-days of events. There is no single-day pass or ticket available.

Are There Refunds?
Refunds must be requested in writing or emailed by January 9, 2025. There are NO REFUNDS after that date.
There will be a $10 per registration refund processing fee.

Do You Offer A Group Rate?
No. We do not offer a group discount.
