1-60 - Liturgical Ministers: Believers, Disciples, and Servants
Adult Days | Workshops
Diana Macalintal and Matthew Reichert
Serving as a liturgical minister (i.e. lector, cantor, choir member, altar server, etc.) is not the same as volunteering. The Church reminds us that liturgical ministers are “first of all disciples, and only then are they ministers.” They “share the faith, serve the community, and express the love of God.” Using several key liturgy documents as our guide, this session will explore and form the key identities and attitudes necessary for liturgical musicians and all liturgical ministers.
