6-07 A Catechesis of Hope in Light of the 2020 Directory for Catechesis
Hosffman Ospino, PhD
The 2020 Directory for Catechesis is a gift to the Catholic community at a time of major transformations defining our world and our local societies. The directory, making an invitation to proclaim Jesus Christ with renewed enthusiasm, provides a framework for a catechesis of hope. While the directory acknowledges the many challenges that define our lives today, it also calls for a catechesis that is always evangelizing, hopeful and constructive. This presentation introduces the new Directory for Catechesis as a guide for religious educators and evangelizers to be joyful prophets and faithful mystics who instill hope.
