It might sound like a simple question, but it is not always as easy to understand the ups and downs of your moods. Do you sometimes feel like your emotions control you? Let's be honest, being a teenager can be hard. When stress and anxiety come it's usually because your emotions are ignored, suppressed, or just not being handled well. Emotions are not just feelings. They not only live in your heart but affect your body and mind too. Emotional awareness is the ability to recognize and make sense of your own emotions and those of others. In this session you will explore ways to strengthen your emotional awareness through gratitude, mindfulness, and prayer. Come discover how with God's help, your faith can have a significant impact on your emotional life.
